Đó là chương trình đã được duy trì đều đặn mấy năm gần đây tại Trường THPT Quang Trung (Củ Chi, TP.HCM). </p>

Ngoài ra, Đoàn trường cũng đang phát động phong trào đoàn viên, học sinh tặng sách giáo khoa cũ cho đàn em và tặng quần áo cũ để giúp các bạn có hoàn cảnh khó khăn đỡ gánh nặng về tài chính.</font></font></font></p>

<div style="text-align: justify; ">Trong một tiết học ngoại khóa, thầy giáo Nguyễn Văn Cải - trợ lý thanh niên của trường - cho học sinh xem những phim tư liệu về Bác. Đặc biệt, hình ảnh Bác mỗi ngày lấy một nắm gạo bỏ vào hũ gạo cứu đói gây xúc động với các bạn. Không ai bảo ai, trong các bản thu hoạch, nhiều bạn cùng đề xuất thành lập một quỹ khuyến học do chính học sinh đóng góp bằng việc tiết kiệm tiền chi tiêu của mình mỗi tuần. </div>
<p class="pBody" style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; ">Không khí tiết sinh hoạt đầu tuần rộn rã hơn hẳn khi xuất hiện những chú heo đất nhỏ xinh. Bạn Trần Thị Ngọc Tú (12A2) nói như thường lệ, cứ đến tiết sinh hoạt đầu tuần là mọi người xúm xít chờ cho heo đất “ăn”. Tú vuốt phẳng tờ 1.000đ một cách trân trọng trước khi bỏ vào heo đất. Có bạn “cho heo ăn” vài lần trong tuần.</p>
<p class="pBody" style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; ">Bạn Nguyễn Nghĩa Hiệp, một học sinh nhận được sự giúp đỡ từ quỹ này, tâm sự: “Với số tiền nhận từ học bổng (từ mà các học sinh nói về nguồn tiền tiết kiệm từ heo đất - PV) mình dùng mua sách vở, dụng cụ học tập và dành một phần đưa mẹ trang trải cuộc sống của gia đình. Học bổng này càng ý nghĩa hơn vì đó chính là tấm lòng và tình cảm của các bạn dành cho mình bằng việc tiết kiệm tiền tiêu vặt mỗi tuần”.</p>
<p class="pBody" style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; ">Thầy Nguyễn Văn Cải nói quỹ khuyến học đã thành công ngoài dự kiến khi số tiền thu được gấp nhiều lần so với cách gây quỹ trước đó là thu gom giấy vụn. “Ý nghĩa hơn cả là giúp các em có ý thức trong việc tiết kiệm và dùng chính đồng tiền đó giúp đỡ các bạn có hoàn cảnh khó khăn hơn mình”, thầy nói.</p>
<p class="pBody" style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; ">Mỗi năm hai lần, trường lại tổ chức hội thu heo đất để lấy tiền mua quà và trao học bổng cho các trường hợp có hoàn cảnh khó khăn. Năm học 2008-2009 vừa qua, số tiền thu được từ heo đất toàn trường hơn 10 triệu đồng, giúp được rất nhiều bạn nhỏ.</p>
<p class="pBody" style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 16px; text-align: justify; ">Hơn 120 suất học bổng đã được trao là cũng từng ấy niềm vui được chia đều cho những bạn có hoàn cảnh khó khăn đang cần mẫn đến trường ở vùng Củ Chi đất thép thành đồng.</p>
