<p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:.5in" class="MsoBodyTextIndent"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="color: windowtext;">Ngày 10/6/2011, Ban Thường vụ Quận đoàn Bình Thạnh phối hợp với Phòng Tài nguyên và môi trường, Trung tâm văn hóa và Trung tâm Thể dục thể thao tổ chức hội thi vẽ tranh hè 2011 với chủ đề “Quê hương em Bình Thạnh” thu hút trên 400 thanh thiếu nhi trên địa bàn Quận tham gia.</span></span></span></p>

<p style="margin-left: 0in; text-indent: 0in;" class="MsoBodyTextIndent"><span style="color: windowtext;"> Với hình thức thi cá nhân và tập thể dành cho các em thanh thiếu nhi đang trong độ tuổi cấp 1 và cấp 2. Phần thi cá nhân các em sẽ vẽ bức tranh của mình trên khổ giấy A3, thi tập thể mỗi đội từ 2 – 3 thí sinh cùng thực hiện 1 chủ đề trên 1 bức tranh khổ giấy A1. Các tác phẩm cũng đã thể hiện: môi trường văn minh, sạch đẹp, an toàn xung quanh em, giữ gìn vệ sinh, bảo vệ cảnh quan môi trường xanh – sạch – đẹp, cây xanh, hoa kiểng với cuộc sống em, bảo vệ môi trường sống và thực hiện nếp sống văn minh, mỹ quan đô thị, ca ngợi quê hương,…Hội thi tạo không khí thi đua sôi nổi trong dịp sinh hoạt hè cho thanh thiếu nhi. Hội thi với sự tham gia của 120 tác phẩm của các em học sinh cấp 1, 110 tác phẩm của các em học sinh cấp 2 và 17 tác phẩm tập thể. </span></p>
