Từ tháng 5-2012, sau giờ học Mwanyuma chăm chỉ đi nhặt túi nhựa ở các bãi rác, thùng rác, mang về cùng mẹ giặt sạch rồi tỉ mỉ cắt, bện thành sợi rồi đan hoặc móc thành túi xách, thảm chùi chân, tấm lót bình hoa... vừa bền, vừa khá bắt mắt. Sản phẩm được cô mang ra chợ bán với giá 3-5 euro (khoảng 81.000-135.000 đồng). Lợi nhuận được cô dùng làm chi phí đi lại để dạy cho nhiều bạn trẻ, nhiều phụ nữ khác cách làm các sản phẩm tái chế này.</span></span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
