Văn Mãi - Bí thư Trung ương Đoàn đã đến thăm nhà và truy tặng huy hiệu “Tuổi trẻ
dũng cảm” cho đoàn viên Lưu Minh Hiếu (sinh năm 1991), học sinh lớp 12B5, trường
THPT Lê Thánh Tôn (Q7, TPHCM) đã hi sinh thân mình cứu người trong hoạn nạn.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal">Trong chuyến tham quan học
tập ngoại khóa của trường vào ngày 26/12/2008, trong lúc đang tắm biển, em Hiếu
và các bạn trong lớp đã dũng cảm cứu một người đàn ông suýt chết đuối. Không
chịu nổi sóng to, em Hiếu đã vĩnh viễn ra đi trong lúc cứu người. </span></font>

Lưu Huệ Mai (mẹ em Hiếu), đồng chí Phan Văn Mãi khẳng định sự hi sinh thân mình
của em Hiếu mãi mãi được xã hội ghi nhận và đoàn viên, học sinh phải lấy đó là
tấm gương sáng tự noi theo.</span></font></p>
