trình Quy hoạch cán bộ dài hạn của Thành ủy TP.HCM, trong năm 2008, chương trình
đã xét chọn 221 cán bộ vào diện, gồm 180 cán bộ công chức và 41 sinh viên, nâng
tổng số cán bộ trẻ trong diện quy hoạch dài hạn lên 1.056; trong đó có 762 người
được tuyển từ nguồn cán bộ công chức và 294 người tuyển từ sinh viên.</span></p>

402 người được điều động về phường xã để đào tạo trong thực tiễn; 200 người học
xong cao cấp chính trị trở lên, 619 người được kết nạp đảng, 342 người được bổ
nhiệm trưởng phó phòng quận huyện và tương đương, cán bộ chủ chốt phường, xã,
thị trấn; 34 người tham gia quận, huyện ủy, đảng ủy cấp trên cơ sở và 107 cán bộ
trẻ tham gia cấp ủy cơ sở; 61 người được quy hoạch chức danh diện Thành ủy quản
lý.</span></p>
