<p class="style1">Sáng nay 30.4.2010, lúc 6g30 phút, lễ kỷ niệm 35 năm giải phóng miền Nam, thống nhất đất nước đã diễn ra tại khu lễ đài chính trước Dinh Thống Nhất, TP.HCM, kéo dài đến 10g cùng ngày, do Thành uỷ, Hội đồng Nhân dân thành phố, Uỷ ban Nhân dân thành phố, UB Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam TP.HCM tổ chức.</p>
<p class="style1">Đến dự buổi lễ có Chủ tịch nước Nguyễn Minh Triết, nguyên Chủ tịch nước Lê Đức Anh, nguyên Tổng bí thư Lê Khả Phiêu, nguyên Thủ tướng Phan Văn Khải, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị Trương Tấn Sang và nhiều lãnh đạo cao cấp của Đảng và Nhà nước. Hàng chục ngàn người dân thành phố, các sở ban ngành, đoàn thể, chính quyền cùng đông đảo phóng viên trong và ngoài nước tham dự buổi lễ này.</p>
<p class="style1">Buổi lễ được truyền hình trực tiếp trên kênh VTV1 Đài truyền hình VN, HTV9 Đài truyền hình TP.HCM và truyền thanh trực tiếp trên sóng của Đài Tiếng nói nhân dân TP.HCM.</p>

<p class="style1">Lúc 7g, Bí thư Thành ủy Lê Thanh Hải đọc diễn văn khai mạc buổi lễ. Sau đó là các hoạt động diễu binh và diễu hành nghệ thuật của các ban ngành đoàn thể, lực lượng vũ trang.</p>
<p class="style1">Nhân dịp này, Chủ tịch nước Nguyễn Minh Triết trao tặng TP.HCM Huân chương Sao Vàng do những cố gắng không ngừng của thành phố trong quá trình xây dựng và phát triển chung của cả nước.</p>
<p class="style1">Tối nay, TP.HCM sẽ bắn pháo hoa kỷ niệm ngày lễ 30.4 - 1.5 tại bảy địa điểm.</p>
